9:42 I have had this gay moment multiple times in middle and high school.
I've never had that gay moment with a gay girl though.
It was like:
she's looking at my lips, she's touching my lips, her face is so close, why does her hair smell like roses? Shit, calm down, she's not going to kiss you, she's straight as a board.
*Finishes with lipstick, and leans in close to check eyeshadow moves back away*
*My gay ass nearly had a heart attack. My face is hot, and I'm hyperventilating a little*
Not to mention my straight as a board roommate who likes to cuddle and be very affectionate with me and I'm just like:
Hands! Where do I put my hands? Shit, she feels so nice- eek! Boobs! Calm down, we all have boobs here. I will not think of my best friend sexually. I will not think of my best friend sexually. That's disrespectful to her. Don't be creepy. don't be creepy.
*Her pubic bone accidentally brushes against my thigh*
*Waterfall in pants*
Me: God freaking dammit. I'm so glad I can't get boners.
As much as I platonically love my straight friends... Sometimes they forget that I am very gay.
Stevie, you are a beautiful woman. It is impossible to dislike you, lol! I love the information you provide, especially about being yourself, being non judgemental and getting or giving consent. Thank you!
LESBIAN RELATIONSHIP ARE THE WORST! GIRL'S GET YOURSELF A MAN. IF YOU GET INVOLVED IN A LESBIAN RELATIONSHIP, SEE WHAT HAPPENS. IF YOU THINK A MAN BROKE YOUR HEART AND DEVISTATED YOU IN THE PAST. SEE WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU IN A LESBIAN RELATIONSHIP. THESE LESBIANS DO NOTHING BUT CHEAT ON EACH OTHER DAY AND NIGHT AND STEAL EACH OTHERS GIRLFRIENDS AND TERMINALLY BREAK EACH OTHERS HEARTS. THEY ARE ALSO VERY VIOLENT AND DESTROY EACH OTHERS PROPERTY LIKE CARS WHEN THEIR RELATIONSHIPS COME TO AN END. IF THESE LESBIANS COULD GET AWAY WITH MURDER. THERE WOULD BE A LOT OF DEAD LESBIANS ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
Thank you so much for this perspective on the aesthetic spectrum. I definitely always identify as feminine, but I feel masculine energy a lot and wear sprinkle masculine clothes into my personal aesthetic when I want to exude the masculine energy I am feeling. Listening to you break it down helped me process some personal questions that I've been having lately and make me feel warm and fuzzy :D. Thank you, thank you!
…. I dress with more of a dude style with clothes and in the clothing section but not a lesbian..... love the vintage look though.... :3 And Jessica (with the red hair?) reminds me of Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Rodger Rabbit, she is gorgeous! :3 <3 I love the look!
"they asked me 'Hey, are you bi at all?' and I was like 'Do I have to shave my head to make people stop asking me that question?'"
Lol I have had my head shaved for like two years and I'm bi ... hair or lack of it has no gender/sexual orientation lmao
i literally cut my hair the stereotypical bi haircut. you know, like the medium bob? AND NOBODY FUCKING PUT TWO AND TWO TOGETHER AND GOT GAY! so i got a cute artsy fringe. AND THEN SO DID ALL MY STRAIGHT FRIENDS. NEXT IM SHAVING MY FUCKING HEAD. FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
In my lesbian relationship I am the fem with long hair and my girlfriend is the butch with short hair but we both wear kinda the same clothes day to day. But when I dress up I do it all dress nice makeup hair down all of it.
Jessica is freakin' gorgeous, I would never imagine her a lesbian in a thousand years if I saw her on the street. She is super high fem!!! But Stevie is a freakin' cutie! You both are a joy to watch. :)
For a long time, online dating was a club for straight people. Sites like and eHarmony, whose co-founder is notoriously homophobic, had historically excluded LGBTQ communities. Even as new apps revolutionized the online dating world, queer folks were finding that these apps had little to offer in terms of inclusivity, acceptance, and creating space for people with a wide variety of genders and sexualities. Where were the Lesbian, queer, and lesbian dating apps that catered to everyone?
Up until recently, some of the nation has acted as though lesbianism didnt exist outside of porn and Ellen Degeneres, and acted as if girls only turn to dating women if they had a bad experience with a man. This, of course, is not true.
If youre reading this, its probably because youve experienced the frustration with dating sites and apps that claim to be inclusive to all sexual orientations, only to realize that some closeted quirks make it obvious that the straights are the target.
Chances are, at least one person you know has met their partner using a dating app. Male or female, regardless of what you identify as or what you like in bed, we all use them. And yet, most apps are still designed with only straight people in mind. What gives?
By its very premise, which requires the woman in a match to send the first message, Bumble assumes that its users are straight. And as a lesbian woman whos spent a fair amount of time on both Tinder and OkCupid, I can tell you that the apps arent great at weeding out men who dont belong (sorry for the immediate swipe left, Scott, Todd, and John, but I dont know how you got here).
