5 Free Lesbian Webseries That You Can Watch Online - In this video I wanna present 5 different English-speaking lesbian webseries that you can watch online.
I usually focus on TV shows on this channels but there are actually a lot of great lesbian webseries and for this video I picked out 5 of them. These are the five shows I picked.
1) Carmilla - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4QzRfvkJZ4
2) The Chanticleer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIdACWJfYlE
3) Til Lease Do Us Part - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbFZgr6wcLs
4) Into Girls - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YglajykF_i0
5) Last Life - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daX0aXTZm2s
All of these shows have lesbian or bisexual female characters and relationships.
Make sure to subscribe to the channels of the creators and let them know you appreciate their effort. :) It takes a lot of work to create series and films, especially on a low budget when you have to do everything yourself...
If you know any other lesbian webseries, let me know in the comments - also feel free to reach out if you're a creator yourself! annacomedy(at)gmail.com
Girl/Girl Scene. The series creator knew that it would views for being a lesbian web series, but decided that wasn't good enough, so made all the characters horrible as human beings. And it works. This is series is very reliant on the characters' charm and charisma, which is naturally exhumed from each of them. It can get pretty dark and the third season got rid of the style in favor of a generic young adult romance story, so be prepared when watching.
I throw in another that seems to sadly have been forgotten is Edge of Normal, it's Sc-fi show with all girls some of the characters are Lesbian but some are straight. It's really good for it's budget and is acted well by involved. The only sad thing is that it sadly didn't follow up the cliffhanger of a ending to season 1 so be warned, that was nearly three years ago so I'm assuming it ain't coming back.
Good recommendations, The Chanticleer has potential, it set up it's characters very well. Just hope for the next season it's a bit more plot driven. Till Lease Do Us Part, is very funny with heart but it is to be expected as the two creators Sarah and Adrianna are funny as hell and very likeable (watch their Pillow Talk segments on their channel) and they have just shot and wrote a full feature Almost Adults (the trailer has over a million views) a fan funded film with the two main leads from Carmilla and its looks a well shot and acted film from its trailer. So fingers crossed it's good. Into Girls was a weird one, certainly not the best shot out of all the shorts (the sound is a little off in segments too) plus the acting at times is a little to be desired, but it had one of the cutest story arcs in it with Alica and Sam (Alicia is the girl who was using the phone). Even though it's more then likely not coming back it did wrap up it's stories beside one.
+steve cheevers thanks for the reviews and comments, Steve :) - if you're looking for more content to review, you can also check out the following LGBT web series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udH7gSzgU5U
"Starting From Now" is an awesome lesbian web series that you can find right here on YouTube. It's an all Australian cast. They've just released their 4th season and 5 is soon to follow. Best lesbian web series I've seen thus far.
+Shady Nah man, I'm a guy and two of my favourite web series are Anyone but Me and Out With Dad, they are both well written and well acted series that happen to have Lesbian's as the main characters. I hate that if any guy who watches a Lesbian themed Web series they must be watching cause they want to see Girls kiss. I couldn't care less, all I want is well crafted Web series and to be entertained.
You missed out Red from Brazil.
Beautifully shot web series, with a great story, very talented actors and one hell of a soundtrack. It's in Portuguese with English subs. Definitely the best web series out there with Starting From Now
Some I'd add are Anyone But Me, Starting from Now, and Kiss Her I'm Famous. Anyone But Me and Kiss Her I'm Famous both complete their story arcs. Starting from Now is still ongoing, and currently filming season 4 (as of the time I'm writing this). All are English-language.
This is great, thank you! I've seen a couple of these The Chanticleer and Last Life is wonderful. I sadly haven't been able to get into Carmilla. I love the short story and this series seems to only share the name. I was always hoping if a series was made it would follow the actual story but I'm odd that way :-) Another web series is Frequency by KV Works is on YouTube and I really love it. and Red on Vimeo. It's set in Brazil but has English subtitles. Two really good shows I think.
+WhyStuffIsGreat Well deserving too I might add, It's a very good show, well written and acted. It deals with tough subjects but it's fun too. It's got a very loyal fanbase, it's in it's 4th season right now. One of the things I loved that it takes its time to tell it's story and doesn't blow everything in it's first few episodes. The creator, writer and director Jason Leaver is a awesome guy too. It's won a few awards too.
OH! There is another nice lesbian series called Girl Girl scene, free to watch as well. I like it a lot, but in my opinion, its best days were in the season 1 :-?? Check it out if you'd like, it's worth the views :D
+Jenna Have you checked out Out With Dad, you might like that too. What's great about Anyone but Me, it's short and sweet and didn't outstay it's welcome. But unlike most coming of age stories, they skip the coming out stuff and how the two main characters got together. From the start they are pretty much a couple and Vivian already came out to her dad. Which is one of the refreshing things about the show.
+WhyStuffIsGreat I really love Anyone But Me. It's just beautiful. It's probably my favorite coming of age webseries. It's sweet and angsty and very real (with the possible exception of the straight boyfriend, who I thought looked like he should've been a villain in the first Karate Kid movie.)
For a long time, online dating was a club for straight people. Sites like and eHarmony, whose co-founder is notoriously homophobic, had historically excluded LGBTQ communities. Even as new apps revolutionized the online dating world, queer folks were finding that these apps had little to offer in terms of inclusivity, acceptance, and creating space for people with a wide variety of genders and sexualities. Where were the Lesbian, queer, and lesbian dating apps that catered to everyone?
Up until recently, some of the nation has acted as though lesbianism didnt exist outside of porn and Ellen Degeneres, and acted as if girls only turn to dating women if they had a bad experience with a man. This, of course, is not true.
If youre reading this, its probably because youve experienced the frustration with dating sites and apps that claim to be inclusive to all sexual orientations, only to realize that some closeted quirks make it obvious that the straights are the target.
Chances are, at least one person you know has met their partner using a dating app. Male or female, regardless of what you identify as or what you like in bed, we all use them. And yet, most apps are still designed with only straight people in mind. What gives?
By its very premise, which requires the woman in a match to send the first message, Bumble assumes that its users are straight. And as a lesbian woman whos spent a fair amount of time on both Tinder and OkCupid, I can tell you that the apps arent great at weeding out men who dont belong (sorry for the immediate swipe left, Scott, Todd, and John, but I dont know how you got here).
